IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT THE OSHA 30 CARD

Most jobs in NYC require an OSHA 30 card taken within the last 5 years, EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN SST CARD.  Look at the expiration date on your OSHA 30 card.  If that date is more than 5 years ago or will soon reach 5 years, we recommend you contact the TRAINING FUND at 718-886-3310 to arrange to retake the OSHA 30 class. FYI, it must be all 30 hours again as there are no refreshers available for the OSHA 30.

Interested in obtaining a Certificate of Fitness from the Fire Department of New York (FDNY)?

The Training Fund can provide you with the necessary letter of recommendation and study material.

Don’t let your certifications expire!

Please remember to check your training certification expiration dates. Take classes at the Training Fund to get your re-certifications. It is important not to wait until the last minute to get your re-certification. If your certifications lapse, you may not be able to work.

SST CARDS:

If you do not take the required training to renew your SST cards BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE, you will have to retake all the training required for a new card.

Please call the Training Fund at 718-886-3310 to see which training is needed and when you should take the required classes.
