Local 1010 calls on the city's Parks Department to reform its public contract bidding rules

We are proud to see our hard work highlighted in today’s Queens Daily Eagle. Council Member Shekar Krishnan and New York City Council joined us in calling on New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to recognize labor and and labor-management organizations to file objections to awarded contracts and proposals. “These parties are interested parties with valid concerns, and their participation is critical to protecting public confidence in the City’s procurement process.”
